Hobie Compass Camo

The Compass Camo package is perfectly suited to fishing with its camo colour and reversing kick-up Mirage Drive with Turbo fins for greater freedom, manoeuvrability, and power.

The Hobie Compass Camo has a sleek bow to cut through the water combined with a wider rear section and a recess so that the rudder can tuck underneath make the Hobie Compass a great combination of speed and stability, perfect for touring and angling alike.

The raised mesh seat is adjustable and will keep you dry and comfortable all day long. The kayak comes with the Mirage Drive 180 Drive with kick up Turbo fins. The fins kick-up whenever they hit an underwater obstacle and then redeploy once you start to pedal again and the Turbo fins give greater resistance when pedalling making the kayak go faster, (rather like riding a bike in a high gear). This drive is tough and easy to maintain as well as smooth to use. The drive can be adjusted easily on board to accommodate different leg lengths from a approx an 8 year old child to a 6 foot plus adult. At the pull of a toggle the Compass Camo can easily be reversed.

Fingertip steering combined with the rudder inset into the hull make the Compass Camo very manoeuvrable and leaving your hands free for fishing, filming or eating your sandwiches.

Useful fishing extras are the 2 moulded rod holders, H-track sections can be found either side of the footwell (an ideal spot to install a fishfinder) the Mirage Compass Camo also comes fitted with the Lowrance-Ready system making fishfinder installation easy thanks to the large transducer scupper under the kayak and a system of deck seals for waterproof cable routing. Remember any additional accessories such as electrics are installed for free on new kayaks when purchased from us. The H-rail tracking can also accommodate accessories from any of the popular track mounts including Railblaza, Ram mounts, Yak attack and Scotty. There is an 8″ twist and stow hatch in front of the seat for handy, accessible storage. There is plenty of space for a H-crate at the rear of the kayak and there is additional flexible storage at the bow under the mesh. Thanks to the stability of the kayak anglers can easily stand on the built in EVA deck pads to get a better view of the water when playing or casting for a fish.
